Warm memories are made in Marietta, Ohio, home of the Ohio River Sternwheel Festival. One by one, from up river and down, the sternwheelers arrive in Marietta, Ohio, home of the American Sternwheel Association. They come to The Riverboat Town, to have some good ol' fashioned fun at the event of the year - the Ohio River Sternwheel Festival!
All events are FREE, and the atmosphere is festive and friendly. Marietta invites you to come early and stay late. Enjoy the continuous weekend entertainment, choose refreshments from the various vendors and enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of the 33rd Annual Ohio River Sternwheel Festival!
All weekend long you can enjoy the Art Show of Sternwheel Boats at Marietta College's Hermann Fine Arts Center. Also new to this year's festival, we are hosting a 5K Run and a Childrens' Run. For more information on either event, click here.
It's always the weekend after Labor Day. The 2008 Festival will be held September 5, 6 and 7 at the Ohio River Levee on the corner of Front and Greene Streets in downtown Marietta.
