Rules for the 2008 Ohio River Sternwheel Photography Contest

1. All entries must be taken at the 2008 Festival.

2. Entries may be submitted in the following category:

Color Print - Print must be 5" x 7" in size, or larger. Prints must not be matted, but may be backed. Digital files must be printed on photo quality paper.

3. Participants may submit up to 6 photos. Please put your name, address and phone number on each entry.

4. Prizes!! - 1st - $75 Cash, 2nd - $50 Cash, 3rd - $25 Cash, and Honorable mentions will be picked.

5. Winners will have their photographs, with full photo credit, printed in the following year's Sternwheel Festival Program. Vertical pictures will have a better chance of being printed on the front cover of the program. Winning photographs may also be used in brochures and promotions of the Ohio River Sternwheel Festival with full photo credit to the photographer. Original negatives of all winners will be kept by the festival committee for a period of one year so that quality reproductions can be made. All non-winning prints will be returned to the photographer.

6. All entries should be mailed to: Ohio River Sternwheel Festival, c/o Photo Contest, P.O. Box 2109, Marietta, OH 45750.

7. Deadline for entries TBA.

8. Judging will be done at the Lafayette Hotel, date and time TBA.

9. The Sternwheel Festival Committee will take the utmost care of all entries (prints and negatives). However, the Committee is not liable for any loss or damage.
